They have been putting themselves in the coop on their own which is better than chasing them around when I try to do it. The trick is to wait until the sun completely goes down instead of when it’s just starting to get dark. They’re getting big and I have one rooster. The chick I dubbed MC has been renamed to Mick.
The chicks are introduced to their chicken run for the first time and they are very cautious about checking out the great outdoors. The Barred Rock and Light Brahmas are the first to explore their new surroundings. The Rhode Island Reds came out later and discovered some escape points that have since been secured!
