May 24, 2022 Cheryl No Comments Uncategorized
This coop will be fine for raising our growing chicks in close proximity with our existing flock. However, I would not put 4-5 adult chickens in as it advertises. Our One rooster was cramped in it.

Inspection After Seeing More Bees Than Usual

It must have been a rush hour I saw before. No dead bees so there wasn’t a battle. Upon opening the hive, I found lots of new comb and some eggs laid. I couldn’t find the queen, but aw evidence of her being there. The sugar water bag was empty so I replaced it.

They are growing so fast! It’s hard to tell which Rhode Island Red is the one who hatched a day later. They poop a lot too.
